Waivers in Funbutler
The waiver feature allows your FEC to collect the information and legal confirmations you need—fully customized to your requirements. Funbutler’s waivers are easy for both customers and staff to use while remaining flexible to your setup.
How It Works
1. During Booking Lookup
When a booking reference is opened, a dialog appears showing either:
Existing valid waivers for that customer, or
A waiver form the customer can fill in.
The customer can enter information such as:
Children attending
Birthdates
Signatory’s name, birthdate, and signature
Your configured waiver text is displayed for the customer to review before signing.
2. On-Site Waiver Form
If customers haven’t completed a waiver in advance, they can fill one out on-site.
A QR code for the waiver form can be generated and printed via:
Settings → Waiver → FormCustomers can enter their booking number to link the waiver directly to the booking.
Staff can also connect waivers to a booking from the Waiver tab in the booking dialog before check-in.
3. Ensuring All Guests Are Covered
If waivers are missing for any attendees, staff will be notified and can ask customers to complete them before entering.
Staff can also view all submitted waivers by name in the Waiver Report (see the related help page for details).
4. Waiver Reminder
A reminder is automatically sent to customers who have not yet signed a waiver.
Sent 48 hours before arrival
The message text can be edited under:
Settings → Texts → Email/SMS → Waiver ReminderNo reminder is sent if the waiver has already been completed.
