Learn how the voucher report works to find and check on individual vouchers

Updated over a week ago

The Voucher Report provides a clear and easy-to-read overview of all vouchers sold through your system. It allows you to quickly locate individual vouchers and review their status, remaining balance, and related order information.

To find a specific voucher, begin by selecting the date range that covers the period in which the voucher was originally sold. This ensures that the search results include the voucher you are looking for.

Next, you can search using the voucher code or any of the following details associated with the purchaser:

  • Email address

  • Name

  • Phone number

Once you locate the voucher, click the Details tab on the far right of the row. Here, you can retrieve important information such as:

  • Expiration date

  • Remaining value

  • Original order details

  • URL to receipt

If a customer has not received their receipt for a gift card purchase, the link to the receipt can be found under Details / Voucher Order / URL to Receipt for Voucher Order. This receipt link can be emailed to the customer if needed.

Clicking on the gift card code will open the current gift card as it appears to the end customer. If a customer has not received the email with the gift card link, you can copy the link from the browser and email it to the customer.

If a customer wishes to print their gift card, this can be done from the browser by right-clicking on the gift card and selecting Print. To include the background image on the printout, click on More Settings and check the box for Background Graphics.

This makes the Voucher Report a useful tool for customer support, bookkeeping, and verifying voucher usage.

There is no function for automatic refund of vouchers. This needs to be handled manually. Support can assist with resetting the value of the gift card if needed.

Note: Vouchers are sometimes internally refered to as Giftcards. These are the same thing
