What is VBS?
VBS is a bowling gamification system that enhances your customers’ experience by tracking and displaying their bowling results. When connected to Funbutler, VBS automatically sends player names to the system, allowing Funbutler to fetch and present the final scores to customers after their visit.
This integration gives guests a fun way to review their games, compare results, and share their experience—adding extra value to your bowling offering.
How the VBS → Funbutler integration works
Once the integration is active:
Customer names are sent from Funbutler to VBS before the game starts.
VBS records the bowling results during the session.
Funbutler pulls the results back from VBS, so customers can view their scores once their activity is complete.
The process is fully automated—you only need to activate the integration once.
How to activate the VBS integration
To enable the connection between VBS and Funbutler:
Contact VBS Support.
Ask them to activate or “start the integration to Funbutler.”
VBS will configure the integration on their side.
Once confirmed, the system will begin sending and retrieving data automatically.
No additional setup is needed in Funbutler.
