What are customer groups and how can you use them

Customer groups allow you to categorize your visitors based on specific characteristics such as adults, children, students, seniors, or any other segment relevant to your venue. Instead of simply entering the total number of participants during a booking, customers can select the number of people in each group -giving you more accurate data and a smoother booking process.

Customer groups also support differentiated pricing, meaning you can set unique prices for each group. For example, children or students can have discounted rates, while adults pay standard pricing.

In addition, customer groups can be used for resource allocation, allowing you to assign specific resources or capacities exclusively to certain customer segments. This is useful when certain rooms, instructors, or equipment are intended only for particular types of visitors.

New customer groups can be created directly from the Customer Groups section in your system menu.
