Timeslots define when a resource can be booked, when an activity can be performed, and which start times are available for packages.
Opening hours are usually managed on activities, but they can also be controlled on resources depending on how your configuration is set up. Please check this in advance by reviewing both a resource and an activity to see where your opening hours are being controlled. If you manage the opening hours from the resources, the steps below should be done for the resources instead.
Regular opening hours
Regular hours are usually managed on activities:
Open the activity
Go to Custom periods
Adjust the timeslots as needed
Click Save
Repeat for any other activities
Custom periods
Use custom periods for holidays, seasonal hours, or any dates that differ from regular opening times:
Open the activity
Go to Timeslots
Click New period
Name the period (e.g., “Autumn Break”)
Set start and end dates
Expand the period and adjust the timeslots
Click Save
Repeat for all relevant activities
How timeslots work
Timeslots can be configured on three levels:
Resource level: Defines when a specific resource is available for bookings.
Activity level: Determines when a particular activity can be performed.
Package level: Sets the possible start times for the package.
By combining timeslots across these levels, you can control availability precisely and ensure that bookings align with both resource capacity and activity schedules.
