Booking reference

The booking reference serves as a dynamic digital ticket for guests, summarizing all booking details and actions in one place.

The booking reference acts as a digital ticket that updates dynamically whenever changes are made to the booking. When a booking is made, a confirmation is sent via email and/or SMS. The email includes a “View Booking” button linking directly to the booking reference.

Contents of the booking reference:

  • Booking number

  • Guest name

  • Package or activity booked

  • Add-ons, if any were included

  • Date and time of the booking

  • Arrival time (if activated)

  • Number of guests

  • Price

  • Status: Booked, Paid, Partially Paid, Cancelled

  • Extra text (custom text), if applied

  • Map to the venue so guests can easily find their way

  • Invite option (if invitation function is enabled)

Buttons and their functions:

  • Pay – Complete the payment for the booking

  • Change – Change the booking within allowed time limits

  • Cancel – Cancel the booking according to set rules

Settings options (found under Settings → Booking reference):

  • Extra text for booking reference – Add a custom message on the booking reference, e.g., instructions, reminders, or promotional info

  • Hide person icon on reference – Remove the guest icon from the booking reference

  • Split VAT on reference – Display VAT separately instead of included in the total price

Tip: Provide additional guidance for guests, such as arrival instructions, what to bring, or helpful reminders to ensure a smooth visit.
